What is an Organizing Consultant?

An Organizing Consultant is more commonly known as a Professional Organizer.  Both are individuals that help you to overcome clutter and disorganization to make your life, less stressful and your time, more efficient.  In addition, an Organizing Consultant provides services outside of the actual organizing process, such as training, coaching, public speaking and continuing education for clients.

Why hire Minimize 2 Organize (M2O)?

Not only does M2O help you organize your clutter, we create an easy-to-follow system to help you keep it that way. The Organizing Consultant is available to assist you through the entire process or handle it independently with your direction. Ultimately, M2O is there to deliver a space that allows you to relax and enjoy life. In addition, we are fully bonded and insured.

What are the benefits of getting organized?

EVERYTHING! You will find yourself having more time, less stress and the ability to know where everything is located. Not only will it make your life easier, but more importantly, happier. Your environment plays a huge part on your attitude, outlook, and health. When your surroundings are in disarray, it is difficult to stay focused on family, friends and life goals. It makes life so much simpler when your environment is organized, clean, and things are easy to locate.

Which spaces in my home will you organize?

M2O is prepared to tackle any room of your home.

Will you work with me or just coach me?

Organizing is an interactive process. At M2O, our preference is to work with a client directly and ensure the system works for his/her specific needs and/or limitations. However, it is entirely up to you. If you do not want to touch a thing, you do not have to. But, if you or anyone you choose wants to help, it will get the job done faster and in the end, save you money.

How does M2O determine what needs to be discarded?

You are ALWAYS in control of what happens to your belongings and we will NEVER throw anything away without your consent. To keep the process moving, we may ask you to create guidelines about what can be thrown away. For example, you may tell us that all newspapers before a certain date can be discarded, or clothing of a certain size can be donated.

How do I get started?

Simply send us an email located in the Contact Page or give us a call 717-875-3613 for your free 30-minute phone consultation. Together we will discuss your specific situation, what rooms/areas you would like to be organized, your timeline, and any other pertinent details.

Will you be flexible and able to work around my schedule?

M2O is here to work with you and your busy schedule.

Will my sessions be confidential?

Absolutely!  All meetings, conversations, and questions are between you and M2O and no one else. In addition to adhering to the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) Code of Ethics, M2O has established its own that can be found in the About Page.

What forms of payments are accepted?

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.  Payment is due at the end of each daily work session.
